WFIS Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Scouting,

The year 2013 has come to an end, and it has been an active year for all of us. Regional and National Camps full of participants, Woodbeads Training Courses in the various WFIS Regions, support for members in several countries, Pathfinderbelt´s, Train the Trainer Courses and lots more organized by the various Regional Councils and the World Council.

Some new associations from all over the World have joined our Federation and mo
re join us as Prospective Members, we welcome them one and all into our worldwide Scouting Family.

Several Regional Councils host their General Assemblies and we wish them a lot of strength and passion for their future work – here it is also time to say “Thank you” for helping and working for the World Federation of Independent Scouts.

Some of the exciting Highlights for 2014 that we would like to promote to you are the JAMPAN 2014 in Chile, Woodbeads Training in Jagad Guru Shankaracharaya Ashram in India, the Vetluga Camp in Russia and the Eurocamp in Italy. We look forward to seeing you at one of these International Camps, Local Jamborees or other events.

It is now time to look after our own associations’, groups, individual members and families and to

remember the spirit of scouting given to all of us by our Founder Lord Baden Powell.
